About the Opportunity

An operating partner is a business leader who works with a company's leadership team to improve the business and create value for shareholders. They are often a key part of an investment firm's strategy and act as a liaison between the firm and its portfolio company. This role offers the opportunity to partner with the organization as the incoming CEO/COO/VP/GM/President of a newly acquired portfolio company.

Operating partners are experienced leaders and operators currently working within a Software as a Service or Service-Based business in a sales, marketing, operations, or key management role. If there is a demonstrable track record of success and a desire to run an internet-based business as its operating CEO/COO/VP/GM/President, this is an exciting prospect. Applying for this role places candidates in a network for consideration when new businesses generating $500K-$5M in revenue are acquired. Operating partners can expect excellent and unique compensation packages including equity and/or profit share participation.

The organization utilizes proven playbooks to create and curate a database full of potential customers and invests in bringing value to them on an ongoing basis. With a global footprint, the team operates with a distributed workforce covering multiple time zones capable of serving a multinational customer base. A creative solutions mindset is brought to problem-solving, with an optimistic approach to challenges, recognizing that most decisions are reversible. The strategy involves narrowing down the market to a specific customer that can be best served, and growing from there, rather than pursuing large, undefined markets.

The thesis is that intelligent entrepreneurs globally are adept at identifying and building great software. Once these companies reach product-market fit, it is not uncommon for the company to grow beyond the founders’ core competencies. By infusing capital and adding infrastructure, businesses can be enabled to realize their full potential while continuing to scale revenue profitably. The focus is to minimize risk and maximize returns, investing only in companies with a clear predictable path to success.
