ROLE
A fast-growing Automotive brand in SA is seeking to employ a dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic parts & accessories warehouse manager. The successful candidate will manage the overall supply chain from arrival at port, customs clearance, delivery to the warehouse, storage, outbound and reverse logistics and will play a crucial role in contributing towards the overall department goal.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the end to end supply chain, receiving, picking, packing, distribution and reverse logistics in accordance to OEM standards, processes and KPI’s
- Collaborate with the National Parts Manager on parts forecasting
- Manage non-conformance inventory
- Daily cycle counts, reporting on variances and action planning
- Periodic wall to wall stock counts
- On time dealer deliveries
- Ensure health and safety protocol compliance
- KPI reporting
- Warehouse space optimization
- Workload planning and collaboration with customs clearance team
- Continuous improvement plan development and execution
- Warehouse cost control
- Expediting of urgent orders
KPI
- Receiving and processing shipments in line with internal KPI
- 5s implementation
- Space optimization and commodity stacking
- Ontime deliveries as per SLA
- Damaged inventory management
- Stock & Bin accuracy
- Cost control
- Contribute towards overall department CSI objective
- Inventory forecasting
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12-Matric) compulsory;
- A valid Driver’s license.
WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Experience in warehouse management – Non negotiable. Experience in the Motor Industry at OEM level will be advantageous.
- Understanding of Motor Vehicle Components and Architecture Service and Policy & Operating process’s
- Excellent relationship and service delivery skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communicator, team player, professional and interpersonal skills
- Work well under pressure
- Excellent computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), grammar and writing content
- Able to manage a diverse team
