ROLE

A fast-growing Automotive brand in SA is seeking to employ a dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic parts & accessories warehouse manager. The successful candidate will manage the overall supply chain from arrival at port, customs clearance, delivery to the warehouse, storage, outbound and reverse logistics and will play a crucial role in contributing towards the overall department goal.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Oversee the end to end supply chain, receiving, picking, packing, distribution and reverse logistics in accordance to OEM standards, processes and KPI’s
  2. Collaborate with the National Parts Manager on parts forecasting
  3. Manage non-conformance inventory
  4. Daily cycle counts, reporting on variances and action planning
  5. Periodic wall to wall stock counts
  6. On time dealer deliveries
  7. Ensure health and safety protocol compliance
  8. KPI reporting
  9. Warehouse space optimization
  10. Workload planning and collaboration with customs clearance team
  11. Continuous improvement plan development and execution
  12. Warehouse cost control
  13. Expediting of urgent orders

KPI

  1. Receiving and processing shipments in line with internal KPI
  2. 5s implementation
  3. Space optimization and commodity stacking
  4. Ontime deliveries as per SLA
  5. Damaged inventory management
  6. Stock & Bin accuracy
  7. Cost control
  8. Contribute towards overall department CSI objective
  9. Inventory forecasting

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  1. Senior Certificate (Grade 12-Matric) compulsory;
  2. A valid Driver’s license.

WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  1. Experience in warehouse management – Non negotiable. Experience in the Motor Industry at OEM level will be advantageous.
  2. Understanding of Motor Vehicle Components and Architecture Service and Policy & Operating process’s
  3. Excellent relationship and service delivery skills
  4. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  5. Excellent communicator, team player, professional and interpersonal skills
  6. Work well under pressure
  7. Excellent computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), grammar and writing content
  8. Able to manage a diverse team
