* We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team at our depot based in Staple Hill. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards.

THIS IS A MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8.30AM – 5.30PM NO WEEKENDS
SALARY IS DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE/MECHANICAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
* Duties
* * Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools.
* Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to assemble, disassemble, and repair vehicle parts efficiently.
* Repair or replace faulty components such as belts, hoses, filters, and other mechanical parts.
* Follow maintenance schedules and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
* Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or installing large parts or equipment.
* Experience
* * Proven experience in vehicle repair or maintenance is preferred.
* Knowledge of schematics and ability to interpret technical diagrams is essential.
* Mechanical knowledge
* Experience with tyre fitting, brake pads and discs, mot repairs, servicing etc
* Experience using hand tools, power tools is highly desirable.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
