You will be primarily responsible for the structural component design of microsatellites, handling the full process from design to procurement and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Structural Design & Modeling:
- Create 3D/2D CAD models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Procurement Management & Vendor Coordination:
- Select subcontractors for designed components, place orders, and coordinate specifications and delivery schedules.
- Inspection & Quality Assurance:
- Inspect delivered components to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Analysis & Optimization:
- Conduct structural and thermal analyses using Nastran (depending on experience and skill level).
Requirements
- At least 3 years of practical experience as a CAD operator
- Hands-on experience in mechanical design and development of hardware (e.g., electronics, automotive, in-vehicle devices, robotics)
