A global metals manufacturer serving the automotive, aerospace, commercial transportation, industrial, and construction markets is seeking a Director of Sales – Aluminum Brazing Sheet to lead North American commercial strategy for a $250M business segment.
This role reports to the VP Commercial and will develop and execute the sales strategy for the North American aluminum brazing sheet market while leading a high-performing sales team and managing key customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute North American sales strategy for the aluminum brazing sheet business to drive profitable growth
- Lead and coach a team of account managers to achieve sales targets and expand market share
- Manage and grow strategic customer relationships, including direct responsibility for key brazing accounts
- Lead commercial contract negotiations with major customers
- Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and market dynamics to optimize results
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams including marketing, business development, and plant leadership
- Travel 25–50%
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of sales experience with a metal manufacturer or distributor
- 5+ years in a commercial leadership role with direct reports
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Experience in aluminum products, brazing sheet, HVAC, heat exchangers, or automotive markets strongly preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (ITAR compliant)
