MET Technician Jobs in Northampton, UK at Maidwell ARC Ltd
We are looking for an experienced MET technician looking for a new challenge.
The ideal candidate will be keen to help the business grow with a positive “can do” attitude and willingness to undertake further manufacturer training as and when required.
* THE MAIN JOB FUNCTION
* * To be able to repair, strip fit, damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition in accordance with approved Repair Methodology and Manufacturers standards.
* To carry out such work in a safe and economical manner.
* Use of diagnostics equipment for Pre/Post scans and fault identification
* Follow all in process checks and sign off in line with BS10125 standard
* To observe, recognise and report on vehicle additional body damage to estimator
* Safe shut down/recommission of electric and hybrid vehicles.
* Use of body shop management system to clock on and off jobs and quality checks.
* To keep work area clean and tidy and free from hazards.
* Adherence to all Health and Safety policies
* Other Duties:
* Any other duties as and when required by senior company managers that are reasonably within the capabilities of the person and are aimed at achieving the company’s objectives and goals.
* QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
* * To have experience in the body repair of motor vehicles.
* Hold an current NVQ Level or ATA, Level 3, MET. or equivalent
* Level 3 Electric/Hybrid would be an advantage
* Wheel alignment/Geometry experience or qualification would be an advantage

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
