Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Mercedes Truck Mechanic for a full-time on-site role based in Lagos. The mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring that all Mercedes trucks are in optimal working condition. This role involves inspecting and troubleshooting equipment, carrying out repairs on heavy vehicles, and maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will collaborate with the team to uphold safety procedures and enhance vehicle performance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance processes
- Strong skills in Equipment Repair and Heavy Equipment handling
- Experience in Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and standards for heavy vehicles
- Technical certification in automotive or diesel technology preferred
- Previous experience working with Mercedes-Benz trucks is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
