Company Description
LABA7 builds precision electromechanical test equipment — damper dynos, spring rate testers, torque measuring devices, and general-purpose testing rigs — for motorsport, automotive OEM, and aerospace customers. Our gear ends up in workshops, R&D laboratories, and manufacturing lines at many well-known companies around the world.
We're looking for a strong mechanical engineer who wants to grow into leading our R&D team within 1–2 years.
Role Description
Full-time, on-site role in Vilnius.
You'll design and develop precision electromechanical test equipment from the ground up — taking machines from concept through CAD, prototyping, and into production. The work spans mechanical system design, R&D on new product platforms, hands-on prototyping and calibration, and seeing builds through manufacturing to make sure they actually perform the way they should on the test floor.
You'll own projects end-to-end and work closely with our electronics, firmware, and production teams. Over time, as you take on more, you'll start shaping how R&D runs here and lead the engineers around you.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in mechanical engineering and machine design
- Solid SOLIDWORKS skills — detailed modeling, assemblies, and production-ready drawings
- Project management experience: timeline planning and working across teams
- Track record of R&D work and solving non-obvious problems
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with testing equipment is a big plus
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety regulations
What we offer
€3,500–5,000 gross/month depending on experience, insurance, plus annual bonus. A clear path to R&D Team Lead within 1–2 years, with a salary review at that point.
Real projects — your work ends up on F1 circuits and in OEM test cells. On-site work in Vilnius, flexible hours.
