JOB DESCRIPTION :
BIW (Body-in-White) Design Engineer
- Experience in BIW component and sub-system design using CATIA V5.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design, spot welds, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in underbody, upper body, closures, and structural assemblies.
- Ability to perform packaging studies, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design validation.
- Exposure to OEM standards and product development lifecycle.
Interior Cockpit Engineer (Door Trim, Console & Instrument Panel)
- Experience in design and development of Door Trims, Center Console, Instrument Panel, and Cockpit modules.
- Knowledge of plastic part design, master sections, tooling feasibility, and DFM/DFA.
- Experience in supplier coordination, packaging studies, and issue resolution.
- Understanding of automotive interior regulations and quality standards.
Interior Hard & Soft Trims Engineer
- Design and development of plastic and soft trim components for automotive interiors.
- Expertise in injection molded components, surface development, attachment strategies, and tolerance management.
- Experience in concept development, feasibility studies, and release activities.
- Strong CATIA V5 modeling and drafting skills.
Interior Lighting Engineer
- Experience in design and integration of ambient, functional, and decorative lighting systems.
- Knowledge of light guides, LEDs, bezels, lenses, and lighting assemblies.
- Understanding of lighting regulations, thermal considerations, and packaging constraints.
- Experience with product development and validation processes.
Seat Integration Engineer
- Experience in complete seat integration, seat structures, recliners, headrests, armrests, and seating mechanisms.
- Knowledge of packaging studies, comfort requirements, ergonomics, and regulatory standards.
- Experience coordinating with multiple vehicle teams for seat integration activities.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 and automotive product development processes.
Chassis Design Engineer
- Experience in design and development of suspension systems, chassis structures, subframes, brackets, and mounting components.
- Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, chassis packaging, and manufacturing considerations.
- Experience in CAD modeling, drafting, and design validation activities.
- Understanding of GD&T, DFM, and automotive standards.
Exterior Trims Engineer
- Experience in design and development of bumpers, grilles, claddings, spoilers, wheel arch trims, and garnish parts.
- Knowledge of plastic component design, tooling feasibility, and attachment strategies.
- Exposure to Class-A surfaces and exterior design standards.
- Strong CATIA V5 surfacing and solid modeling skills.
Closures Engineer
- Experience in design and development of Doors, Hood, Tailgate, Fenders, Hinges, and Latch systems.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design, sealing systems, packaging studies, and closure mechanisms.
- Experience in design release, BOM management, and engineering change management.
- Understanding of vehicle integration and regulatory requirements.
Exhaust System Engineer
- Experience in design and development of exhaust manifolds, mufflers, catalytic converters, pipes, and mounting systems.
- Knowledge of thermal management, vibration analysis, packaging, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in CATIA V5 design and product lifecycle activities.
- Understanding of emission standards and exhaust system integration.
Powertrain Design Engineer
- Experience in design and development of engine, transmission, drivetrain, cooling system, and powertrain components.
- Knowledge of casting, machining, sheet metal parts, and assemblies.
- Experience in packaging studies, design validation, and product development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of automotive engineering fundamentals and CATIA V5.
