Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Brooks, AB for an experienced Mechanic at Martin Chrysler Ltd. The Mechanic will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including light and heavy-duty trucks, with a special focus on Ram and Cummins Diesel models. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring all vehicles meet safety and performance standards on completion of service. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with other team members and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair
- Experience working with Heavy Equipment and vehicles
- Skilled in Troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, especially diesel engines and trucks
- Ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines
- Completion of a recognized mechanic apprenticeship program or equivalent certification
- Possession of a valid driver's license; a commercial license is a plus
- Previous experience in a dealership or similar automotive service environment is an asset
