About Your New Job
- You will oversee and inspire your team to consistently achieve high service standards and meet set objectives.
- You will take ownership of material purchasing, sales, and inventory, implementing strategies to open new revenue opportunities and advance our materials program.
- You’ll deliver ongoing feedback, conduct performance appraisals, and keep the Commercial Manager updated on program progress.
- You will work collaboratively with both internal and global stakeholders to identify new product prospects and ensure the adoption of industry best practices.
- You’ll also serve as the primary point of contact for escalated issues, resolving them professionally and in accordance with company standards.
What Skills You Need
- Third level qualification in Business, Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a material trading position, ideally within the aviation sector.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient with MS Office and ERP software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
- Ability to thrive and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
