We are conducting a confidential search for a Materials Manager with a company that is a global supplier of industrial components to the agricultural, commercial vehicle, and military markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is located around Raleigh, NC.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Develop and implement the company's supply chain strategy
- Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.
- Track, evaluate and report on KPIs.
- Communicate and work with external customers.
- Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly.
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
- Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures and production scheduling.
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
- Monitor inventory levels, develop product forecasts, and determine strategies.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelors degree preferred
* 3+ years experience as a Materials Manager, Supply Chain Manager, and/or Production Manager in a plant manufacturing environment
* Manage SIOP process
* Lean Manufacturing Mindset
* Previous supervisory experience
