Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Marketing Manager role based in Napier, New Zealand. The Marketing Manager will plan and execute the overall marketing strategy to grow brand awareness and demand across trade, fleet, and outdoor enthusiast segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing digital channels (website, social media, email), coordinating campaigns and product launches, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all collateral. The role will oversee content creation, work closely with sales and product teams to develop targeted promotions, and analyze performance data to optimize marketing spend and lead generation. The Marketing Manager will also manage relationships with agencies and resellers, support events and field activations, and contribute to market and competitor research to inform product positioning.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media management, email marketing, basic SEO/SEM, analytics dashboards).
  • Strong skills in campaign planning, content briefing, and coordinating creative assets for website, social, print, and video.
  • Ability to interpret marketing and sales data, generate insights, and report on campaign and channel performance.
  • Experience collaborating with sales, product, and operations teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear, customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, including managing deadlines, budgets, and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in automotive, manufacturing, outdoor, or trade-related industries is an advantage.
  • Comfort working on-site in a hands-on environment, with openness to occasional travel for events, customer visits, or reseller support.
