Our client is a rapidly growing, venture-backed start-up focused on converting gasoline vehicles to EV using their technology and scale. They strive to create a meaningful workplace, which holds a different significance for each team member. The luxury lifestyle vehicles they produce create joyful experiences for customers and immense pride for the team. They have built a genuinely differentiated product and now need a marketer to help spread the word.
The company converts classic gasoline vehicles to electric. Not as a novelty. As a scalable, technology-driven business with national reach, dealer partnerships, and a growing community of passionate customers. The mission is real: keep vintage vehicles on the road, reduce emissions, and return something meaningful to the communities they serve.
The Marketing Manager will own broad strategic and executional responsibility across every major channel. This person will have meaningful autonomy and direct impact on brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Social Media & Community
- Develop and manage content calendars and publishing across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, and X
- Own brand reputation and community engagement – comments, messages, Google Reviews
- Create, schedule, and publish posts, stories, reels, and short-form video content.
- Support Director as needed with paid social (Meta & Google Ads) alongside media buying for print and direct mail
Content & Email Marketing
- Own the full content lifecycle: strategy, creation, deployment, and performance tracking across campaigns, SEO/GEO, web, and sales and dealer enablement
- Own end-to-end email marketing, including campaign builds, automated workflows, audience segmentation, and performance analysis.
Events
- Own national events, sponsorships, and brand activations from concept through on-site execution and post-event recap – 4x a year
- Manage venue sourcing, vendor relationships, budgets, and cross-channel event promotion
- Partner with dealer network to support local event marketing efforts
Web & Digital Presence
- Manage and maintain dealer microsites for accuracy and brand consistency
- Support website content refreshes, Newsroom updates, and Media Kit management
- Coordinate with web agency and development partners as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5–7+ years across digital marketing, social media, content or email marketing,
- Event management experience is a big plus
- Proven ability to build and execute email campaigns and automated workflows end-to-end
- Strong storyteller – you know how to adapt voice across channels without losing it
- Experience in luxury lifestyle
- Comfortable operating independently in a startup environment — you don't wait to be told what to do
- Organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
- Experience with HubSpot (or comparable CRM), SEMrush (or comparable content tool), and social scheduling platforms
- Able to travel for national events and shoots
- Based within commuting distance of Mare Island, Vallejo — this role is fully onsite – it DOE and candidate, but potential hybrid ability down the road
Bonus if you bring:
- Automotive, OEM, lifestyle, or premium consumer brand background
- Familiarity with co-op advertising or dealer network marketing
- Hands-on design experience with Adobe InDesign or Canva
- Experience working with marketing or event agencies
