Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead the market launch and brand development of a new passenger vehicle brand in Hungary.

This is a strategic and operational leadership role responsible for brand positioning, go-to-market execution, dealer marketing support, and performance-driven campaign management. The role works in close partnership with the Country Director and European HQ.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute the full Hungary marketing strategy
  2. Lead go-to-market and brand launch campaigns
  3. Define brand positioning, messaging and competitive differentiation
  4. Adapt global guidelines to local market realities
  5. End-to-end responsibility for ATL / BTL / digital marketing
  6. Oversee SEO, PPC, performance marketing, CRM and lead generation
  7. Manage POS and retail marketing materials
  8. Support PR and brand visibility initiatives
  9. Provide structured marketing support to dealer partners
  10. Coordinate national promotions and campaign rollouts
  11. Ensure consistent brand identity and standards across the network
  12. Own and manage the national marketing budget
  13. Define KPIs and measure ROI across all campaigns
  14. Optimize media mix and performance spend
  15. Manage the full purchase funnel (awareness → consideration → engagement → conversion)
  16. Develop lead management and CRM processes
  17. Improve brand awareness and perception metrics

Ideal Candidate Profile

  1. 8–12+ years of marketing experience, ideally in automotive (OEM, importer or dealer group)
  2. Proven experience in brand launch, repositioning or performance marketing leadership
  3. Strong digital marketing and data-driven mindset
  4. Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
  5. Fluent English required
