About the Role
Are you an experienced engineer looking for a dynamic role that takes you beyond a standard desk job? SEGULA Technologies is seeking an ambitious Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our international projects. This is a full-time position where you will take full ownership of manufacturing processes and support our key automotive clients directly at their European sites or within domestic projects.
Your Responsibilities
As a core member of our project team, you will analyze, optimize, and manage manufacturing processes directly in the production areas. You will drive activities aimed at improving productivity, quality, and launching new projects:
- Process Optimization: Monitor manufacturing processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement structural changes to increase efficiency, optimize cycle times, and reduce waste.
- International Project Support: Travel frequently and flexibly to various European production plants (UK, Italy, France, etc.) to support equipment installation, commissioning, and validation trials.
- Documentation & Quality: Prepare, update, and maintain work instructions, PFMEAs, and standard operating procedures.
- Problem Solving: Investigate process deviations and complex production issues using structured automotive tools (5 Why, Ishikawa, 8D).
- Lean Manufacturing: Drive continuous improvement activities using Lean, Kaizen, and 5S principles in cooperation with cross-functional teams.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years of proven professional experience as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer within the automotive industry (Tier 1 or OEM).
- Flexibility & Mobility: Mandatory readiness to travel frequently (potentially exceeding 50% of working time) and work on-site at various European locations based on project requirements.
- Languages: Good command of English for daily professional communication and technical reporting.
- Education: Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Location: Based in Slovakia. For local/domestic projects, the primary workplace is Trnava, or Košice upon mutual agreement.
Nice to Have / Advantages:
- Practical knowledge of OEM standards of manufacturing (such as Stellantis, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), VW, Volvo etc.).
- Advanced experience with automotive quality tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP).
- Knowledge of CAD software and advanced MS Excel.
- Valid driving license (Active driver).
