You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.
Responsibilities
- This role will assist in a new vehicle production operations
- Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications
- Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
- Evaluate manufacturing workspace in order to design production layouts and workflow to utilize the available space effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years' of engineering experience in a manufacturing company
- Hands-on experience creating SOPs, standard work, and training materials
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban or 5S a plus
- Experience with CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
