Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Manufacturing Engineer role based in Bayan Lepas. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and overseeing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing production workflows, developing and implementing process improvements, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and objectives. Additionally, the role involves maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in process design, optimization, and manufacturing workflow development
- Proficiency in quality control, production troubleshooting, and process improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and tools, including CAD, CNC programming, and related software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements, particularly within semiconductor or solar manufacturing, is advantageous
- Experience in project management and Lean or Six Sigma certifications are a plus
