We are seeking an exceptional Managing Director to lead AutoWallis Pest and Duna, one of Hungary's largest and most respected automotive dealership groups in Budapest. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, proven leadership experience, and a successful track record of full P&L responsibility in previous roles. This position requires a hands-on approach to leading daily operations and managing an organization of more than 200 employees. Wallis Motor represents several prestigious automotive brands, including BMW, MINI, BMW Motorrad, BYD, Maserati, KGM and Isuzu.
What will be your roles and responsibilities?
STRATEGY
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve dealership goals
- Align dealership operations with overall company objectives
PROFESSIONAL TASK
- Oversee all dealership activities including sales, service, and parts
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 200+ employees
- Conduct regular performance reviews and foster professional development
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Coordinate and manage dealership setup and ongoing projects
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to budgets
BUDGET MANAGEMENT
- Monitor and control dealership expenses
- Ensure profitability and manage financial performance
CUSTOMER RELATIONS
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Address customer issues and implement service improvements
SUPPLIER RELATIONS
- Manage relationships with suppliers and distributors
- Negotiate contracts and ensure timely supply of vehicles and parts
You are the ideal candidate if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in a Managing director role or similar
- Experience in automotive retail unit (car dealership)
- Proven track record in managing a team with a performance based approach
- Full P&L responsibility in a previous roles
- Good command of English
