The Role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Strategy & Planning
- Develop and maintain inventory forecasts through analysis of demand trends, business requirements, and inventory performance to ensure optimal stock levels and operational continuity.
- Monitor inventory performance metrics and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and utilization.
2. Inventory Distribution, Planning & Procurement
- Manage inventory allocation, distribution, procurement, and replenishment activities to ensure optimal stock availability and operational continuity.
- Optimize inventory deployment and purchasing plans based on demand forecasts and business requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient inventory flow and fulfillment operations.
3. Demand Forecasting & Inventory Optimization
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and business forecasts to project inventory requirements.
- Monitor inventory health and proactively identify risks related to shortages, overstocking, or slow-moving inventory.
4. Installer Performance Management
- Manage and monitor installer performance through the establishment of KPIs, service standards, and operational metrics.
- Develop and manage installer performance frameworks, including incentives for high performers and improvement plans for underperformers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve installer productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
5. Risk Management & Business Continuity
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and supply chain risks that may impact inventory availability and service delivery.
- Develop contingency plans and recovery strategies to address inventory shortages, delivery delays, supplier disruptions, and other operational challenges.
- Establish risk monitoring mechanisms and recommend preventive measures to strengthen operational resilience.
6. Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, logistics partners, and field operations teams to align inventory and operational objectives.
- Prepare and present inventory, forecasting, installer performance, and risk management reports to management.
- Drive data-driven decision-making through analysis, reporting, and performance insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in inventory planning, supply chain operations, strategic planning, and performance management.
- Proven track record in developing operational strategies, inventory optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
