About the Role
Greaves Electric Mobility is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Manager, Accessories to lead the strategy, development, and growth of the Accessories business across our Electric Two-Wheeler and Three-Wheeler portfolio. As electric mobility continues to transform the automotive landscape, accessories are becoming a critical lever to enhance the customer experience, increase vehicle personalization, improve dealer profitability, and create sustainable revenue streams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a future-ready accessories portfolio, identifying emerging market opportunities, driving new product development, managing supplier partnerships, and executing go-to-market strategies that deliver measurable business growth.
You'll work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Service, and Dealer Development to build an innovative, profitable, customer-centric accessories ecosystem that sets Greaves Electric Mobility apart in the rapidly evolving EV market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall Accessories business strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives across Electric Two-Wheeler and Three-Wheeler segments.
- Build, manage, and continuously expand a profitable portfolio of genuine accessories, lifestyle products, utility solutions, and vehicle personalization offerings.
- Lead the complete product lifecycle from market research and opportunity identification to product conceptualization, development, validation, commercial launch, and lifecycle management.
- Conduct customer research, dealer feedback sessions, competitive benchmarking, and market intelligence to identify emerging trends and unmet customer needs.
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage supplier partners while driving localization, cost optimization, quality improvements, and long-term strategic partnerships.
- Own commercial aspects of the accessories business, including pricing strategy, revenue growth, gross margins, profitability, business planning, forecasting, and overall P&L performance.
- Drive higher accessory attachment rates by developing dealer engagement programs, merchandising standards, retail activation initiatives, and sales enablement tools.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Service teams to ensure seamless product development and commercialization.
- Develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies, product launch plans, promotional campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, and dealer communication programs.
- Monitor and analyze key business metrics including revenue, margins, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, fill rates, product penetration, dealer participation, customer satisfaction, and return on investment, while implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 8–12 years of progressive experience in Automotive Accessories, Genuine Parts, Aftermarket, Product Management, Category Management, or Electric Vehicle businesses.
- Prior experience working with Automotive OEMs, EV manufacturers, Tier-1 suppliers, or leading automotive accessory organizations is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive accessories, product development processes, supplier management, procurement, category management, dealer networks, and aftermarket business dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in launching new products, building profitable product portfolios, driving category growth, and managing business performance with clear commercial ownership.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments, influencing stakeholders across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Product teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends, customer insights, and business data to make informed commercial decisions.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, project management, and communication skills, coupled with a customer-first approach and a bias for execution.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, or Production Engineering is required; an MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Business Management is preferred.
