With a strong presence across multiple markets, the company specializes in automotive distribution, services, and related commercial operations. As part of its continued European expansion, the group is currently establishing its operations in Austria and building a local team to support long-term growth.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Lead to manage vehicle and spare parts logistics operations for the Austrian market. This role will oversee the physical flow of vehicles and spare parts, ensuring operational efficiency across warehousing, distribution, and logistics partner management. The position combines operational oversight, vendor management, and supply chain coordination in a dynamic, growing market environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers responsible for vehicle and spare parts distribution
- Oversee vehicle reception, unloading, warehousing, damage control, and inventory management processes
- Supervise pre-delivery inspection (PDI) processes and authorize the final release of vehicles for distribution
- Ensure efficient spare parts intake, storage, and distribution to the national service network
- Coordinate spare parts ordering and inventory levels in collaboration with global headquarters
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts to minimize vehicle downtime and Vehicle Off Road (VOR) time
- Monitor logistics performance and optimize distribution processes across the Austrian market
- Ensure smooth coordination between logistics partners, service centers, and headquarters systems
Requirements:
- MUST: 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry with a focus on logistics, supply chain, or operations
- MUST: Native or fluent German and professional working proficiency in English
- Experience working with automotive distribution, logistics providers, or parts supply chains
- Strong understanding of automotive logistics, warehousing operations, and spare parts distribution
- Experience managing external partners and stakeholders in a matrix environment
- Additional exposure to aftersales or dealer network operations is a strong plus
- Highly autonomous, hands-on professional comfortable working in an operational environment
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently across Austria
