Job Title : Licensed Practical Nurse – LTC
Location : Parkersburg, WV , 26101
Shift : Day Shift, Nights shift – 12 hours x 3 days
Duration : 09 -13 weeks with possible extension based on performance
Guaranteed Hours : 36
Pay : $36-$40/hour
Job Duties : –
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and report changes in condition to the RN or physician.
- Perform routine nursing assessments and document findings accurately.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and updating individualized care plans.
- Provide wound care, dressing changes, and monitor the healing process.
- Administer injections, IV therapy (where permitted), and other nursing procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Observe residents for signs of illness, pain, or adverse reactions to medications.
- Coordinate with physicians, RNs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
- Educate residents and families about medications, treatments, and health management.
