About the Role

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with strategic OEM and Tier 1 customers in the Electric Vehicle (EV) 2-Wheeler and 3-Wheeler segment. The role focuses on driving business growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring seamless coordination between customers and internal cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Key Account Management

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with EV OEM customers (2W / 3W)/ Tier1 Customer.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all commercial and coordination activities
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention

Business Development

  • Identify and drive new business opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Support RFQs, quotations, pricing strategies, and negotiations
  • Achieve assigned revenue and growth targets

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
  • Ensure smooth project execution, SOP launches, and issue resolution
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and customer commitments

Market & Strategy

  • Monitor EV market trends, competitor activities, and customer expectations
  • Provide inputs for product strategy and customer roadmap
  • Support long-term strategic account planning

Qualifications

  • 8–15 years of experience in Automotive Key Account Management
  • Mandatory experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) domain
  • Exposure to 2-Wheeler and/or 3-Wheeler OEMs
  • Experience working with automotive components / Tier-1 or Tier-2 suppliers

Required Skills

  • Strong customer handling and negotiation skills/systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of pricing & contracts
  • Ability to work in a matrix, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as per business needs

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the Automotive domain
  • Exposure to 2-Wheeler and/or 3-Wheeler OEMs
