Key Account Manager – Automotive OEMs
Drive strategic growth with a global Tier 1 automotive supplier supporting major OEM customers across North America.
This is a high-impact commercial role focused on managing and growing key OEM accounts across North America. You will take ownership of major customer relationships, drive new business opportunities, and play a central role in expanding market share across multiple vehicle programs.
The position offers significant autonomy, visibility and long-term growth potential within a globally recognized automotive supplier known for innovation, technical expertise and strong OEM partnerships.

With operations across North America, Europe and Asia, they are recognized for delivering innovative engineered solutions to many of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers.
The Opportunity
As Key Account Manager, you will work closely with OEM customers across engineering, purchasing and program management to develop long-term strategic partnerships and deliver sustainable business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing strategic business plans for assigned OEM accounts
- Driving year-on-year sales and operating income growth
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across purchasing, engineering and program management
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across vehicle platforms
- Managing customer programs from specification through launch
- Supporting technical problem-solving and delivering customer-focused solutions
- Coordinating approvals, technologies and customer requirements across North America
- Working cross-functionally with technical, project management and commercial teams
- Managing sales forecasts, customer portals and commercial reporting
- Supporting APQP, PPAP and other automotive quality processes
What We’re Looking For
- Automotive industry experience within a Tier 1 supplier environment
- Experience managing or supporting Japanese OEM customer accounts, particularly Toyota
- Strong commercial and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of automotive processes including APQP and PPAP
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer requirements and deliver solutions
- Experience with automotive materials, adhesives, coatings or engineered chemical solutions would be advantageous, but is not essential
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams
