Our client, a growing automotive manufacturer, is seeking a Key Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams while supporting new business development, quotations, product launches, and ongoing customer programs.

What You Will Be Doing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer accounts and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Prepare quotations and prototype program overviews for management review.
- Develop product cost estimates based on manufacturing processes and production requirements.
- Analyze and validate production process rates and manufacturing assumptions.
- Review customer specifications and ensure requirements are clearly understood and communicated internally.
- Interface with customer systems and contacts to resolve technical and commercial questions.
- Lead feasibility review meetings for new RFQs and coordinate meeting documentation and follow-up actions.
- Support new product launches, prototype manufacturing activities, and APQP processes.
- Collaborate with Purchasing to obtain and evaluate supplier quotations.
- Validate supplier quotations to ensure compliance with customer and engineering requirements.
- Manage Product Development Process (PDP) activities in accordance with company standards.
- Establish and monitor project milestones for prototype and new business programs.
- Provide regular project status updates to management and stakeholders.
- Support new business development efforts through project tracking and reporting.
- Identify and support value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) initiatives and cost reduction opportunities.
- Manage multiple customer programs and projects simultaneously.
- Foster communication and collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and global operations.
What We Need From You
- 3+ years of Key Account Management experience within an automotive or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing customer relationships while supporting commercial and program-related activities.
- Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting quotations, RFQs, prototype programs, and new product launches from concept through production.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, purchasing, and sales teams to deliver successful customer solutions.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive projects to completion while exceeding customer expectations.
All-Star Skillset
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive brake systems is a plus.
