Salary: $80k – $90k + Super
WOW Recruitment is seeking a Spare Parts & Inventory Coordinator for a growing national industrial services business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be the key link between inventory, technicians, suppliers, and operations – ensuring jobs are ready to go and stock is always under control.
You’ll be the person the technicians rely on, the one who keeps the shelves organised, stock accurate, and jobs moving without delays
What You’ll Do
Parts & Inventory Coordination
- Receive, check and put away incoming stock
- Maintain workshop and van inventory
- Coordinate supplier pickups, returns and credits
- Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages
Inventory Accuracy & Stock Control
- Conduct cycle counts and stocktakes
- Investigate inventory discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Support inventory processes and system improvements
Job Readiness & Purchasing Support
- Pick and stage parts for technician jobs
- Ensure jobs are parts-ready before dispatch
- Raise purchase orders and monitor reorder points
- Follow up suppliers on deliveries and delays
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience of atleast 12 months in a Parts, Stores, Inventory, Warehouse, or Service Support role.
- You genuinely enjoy inventory accuracy, stock organisation, investigating discrepancies and maintaining well-run inventory systems.
- Experience conducting cycle counts, stocktakes, and investigating inventory variances.
- Comfortable using ERP or inventory management systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Current forklift licence required.
- Able to confidently follow up suppliers, coordinate with branches, and keep stakeholders informed.
- Exposure to machinery, automotive, industrial, manufacturing, forklift, service, or equipment environments will be highly regarded.
This role is best suited to someone who enjoys hands-on inventory and parts coordination. If you’re looking for a management, procurement strategy or supply chain planning position, this is likely not the right fit.
