Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift field tech to join our team. As a Forklift tech you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts, . The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, and be committed to safety and quality. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
– field forklifts repairs,
– Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including tire service and diesel engine repair
– Conduct visual inspections of equipment and report any issues
– Assist in the fabrication and assembly of equipment and machinery
– Participate in the suspension of heavy loads and equipment
– Operate hydraulic systems as needed
– Transmit information to other team members and management
– Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and safe operations
– Provide support to other departments as needed
Skills:
– Experience forklift field tech
– Strong mechanical aptitude and repair skills
– Knowledge of electrical systems and hydraulics
– Ability to fabricate and assemble equipment and machinery
– Familiarity with diesel engine repair and tire service
– Experience with crane operations
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
– Effective communication skills
– Ability to suspend heavy loads and equipment
– Ability to operate in a team environment
– Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.58 – $15.00 per hour
