Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our fleet, including trucks, industrial machinery, and farm equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other mechanical components using schematics and specialized tools.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and industrial machinery.
- Fabricate parts or modify equipment as needed to meet operational requirements using welding, cutting, and hand tools.
- Service vehicle systems including brakes, suspensions, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignments, and HVAC systems to ensure safety compliance.
- Assist with tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs to maximize vehicle longevity and performance.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and tracking purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar role within a dealership or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and vehicle diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Proficiency with power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other mechanical repair instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Valid certification in automotive or diesel mechanics preferred; relevant licenses or certifications are a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
