Your new role
As the Head of Department, you will lead a team of sales professionals while driving commercial growth across multiple industrial segments. This is a strategic leadership role combining business development, team management, customer engagement, and market expansion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and grow the commercial sales division, driving revenue growth and market expansion
- Develop and implement structured sales strategies targeting fleet operators and industrial customers
- Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers within logistics, transportation, infrastructure, mining, energy, and public sector organisations
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve business objectives
- Drive new business acquisition while identifying opportunities within existing customer accounts
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve sales processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency
- Utilise market insights and data-driven strategies to enhance commercial performance
- Monitor sales performance, manage KPIs, and ensure the achievement of business targets
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Physics, Business, or a related discipline
- 5-10 years of experience within commercial vehicle, truck fleet, fleet solutions, automotive, tyre, or related industrial sectors
- Proven experience leading and developing sales teams
- Strong network within logistics, transportation, fleet operations, or related industries
- Demonstrated track record of business development, sales growth, and market expansion
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate technical knowledge into customer solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Multilingual communication capabilities will be an added advantage
