Position Summary

The Growth & Partnership Specialist is responsible for driving dealership growth and partner success across an assigned territory.

This role combines business development, dealer onboarding, training, performance coaching, and relationship management. The successful candidate will identify and enroll new dealership partners while ensuring existing dealers achieve strong engagement, adoption, and long-term success with RECAP2's Return of Capital Insurance programs.

As a field-based representative of RECAP2, the Growth & Partnership Specialist serves as a trusted advisor to Dealer Principals, General Managers, Sales Managers, and Finance Managers, helping dealerships unlock new revenue opportunities while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

 

Core Responsibilities

Business Development & Dealer Acquisition

  • Identify, prospect and engage targeted dealerships within assigned markets.
  • Conduct dealership presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Develop relationships with Dealer Principals, General Managers, Sales Managers, and F&I leaders.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Facilitate partnership agreements and dealer enrollment.
  • Support regional expansion initiatives and dealer group opportunities.
  • Represent RECAP2 at industry events, dealer meetings, and conferences.

Dealer Onboarding & Launch

  • Coordinate and execute dealership launches.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for dealership personnel.
  • Ensure all operational and compliance requirements are completed.
  • Establish launch plans tailored to each dealership's needs.
  • Provide hands-on support during the critical early adoption period.

 

Dealer Success & Performance Management

  • Maintain ongoing relationships with assigned dealer partners.
  • Conduct regular dealership visits and performance reviews.
  • Analyze referral activity and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coach dealership teams on best practices and customer engagement strategies.
  • Develop action plans to increase adoption, penetration, and overall program performance.
  • Share success stories and proven techniques across the dealer network.

Territory Management

  • Develop and execute strategic territory growth plans.
  • Prioritize opportunities based on market potential and dealer fit.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
  • Provide leadership with field intelligence and dealer feedback.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3–7+ years of automotive retail, OEM, F&I, dealership development, or business development experience.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with dealership leadership.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated track record of achieving growth objectives.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Compensation Structure

o  Base Salary $80,000 – $90,000

o  Company Vehicle Provided

o  Fuel & Expenses Company Paid

o  Comprehensive health and benefits package available following a successful 90 day probationary period

o  Target Bonus: up to 50% of base salary

o  Total Target Compensation $120,000 – $135,000
