Desired Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years experience grinding and/or polishing stainless steel
- High attention to detail
- Expertise with hand tools
- Familiarity with various grades of polishing finishes
- Must be focused on product quality with good work ethic and mechanical aptitude
Essential Job Duties
- Perform various types of polishing operations
- Perform inspections
- Maintain safe work habits
- Perform helper duties in various fabrication tasks
- Read technical drawings and blueprints
- Operate material handling equipment (cranes, lift trucks, etc.)
- Cross-Train with fellow employees, share craft knowledge and skills
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Read and follow instructions from shop work orders
