Job Overview

This role is responsible for end-to-end group-wide supplier quality management. The incumbent will oversee cross-region and cross-site supply chain quality control, establish and standardize group-level supplier quality systems and management standards, manage the full quality lifecycle of strategic and core suppliers, resolve systematic and recurrent cross-site quality issues, drive sustained supply chain quality improvement, and support the group’s procurement strategy and stable production and delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • System & Standard Development: Establish and optimize unified group-wide supplier quality management systems, covering supplier admission criteria, audit specifications, non-conformity handling procedures and performance appraisal mechanisms. Standardize SQE working workflows across all sites, supervise on-site implementation, and drive continuous system iteration and process optimization.
  • Supplier Full Lifecycle Quality Management: Lead the admission evaluation, on-site audit, qualification verification and PPAP sample approval for group strategic and core suppliers. Establish a centralized group supplier quality database, implement tier-based supplier classification management, and optimize the overall quality structure of the group supply chain.
  • Quality Issue Resolution & Closed-Loop Control: Own the resolution of recurrent cross-subsidiary incoming quality defects, major batch quality failures, and supplier-related customer complaint issues. Drive suppliers to complete 8D root cause analysis, implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence, and deliver regular group-level supply chain quality risk reports.
  • Supplier Audit & Capability Coaching: Develop annual group supplier audit plans, conduct systematic quality audits, process audits and unscheduled spot checks. Provide targeted quality guidance and capability empowerment for suppliers with systematic quality weaknesses. Strictly control supplier risks arising from engineering, process and material changes to ensure consistent delivery quality.
  • Supplier Performance Management & Supply Chain Optimization: Implement a unified group supplier quality performance appraisal system. Collect, analyze and review supplier quality performance data on a regular basis, and issue periodic performance rankings and quality analysis reports. Conduct supplier performance reviews, issue improvement notices, adjust supply quotas, and initiate supplier elimination for underperforming vendors.
  • Quality Risk Control & Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and evaluate potential supply chain quality risks at the group level. Lead cross-site quality cost reduction and quality enhancement projects, coordinate SQE teams across sites to deploy improvement initiatives, and elevate the overall quality maturity of the group supply chain.
  • Team Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage and coach SQE teams across sites, standardize daily workflows and deliver professional skill training. Collaborate with group procurement, R&D, supply chain and subsidiary operational teams to resolve cross-regional and cross-departmental quality issues, and support internal and external third-party quality audits.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, Quality Management or related disciplines; minimum 5 years of working experience in group-level manufacturing as a senior SQE or quality supervisor.
  • Solid experience in supplier full lifecycle management; proficient in VDA6.3,8D problem-solving, core quality tools; familiar with ISO9001 and IATF16949 quality management systems and engineering change control processes.
  • Proven experience in group-level quality system establishment and process optimization; capable of handling complex cross-site and systematic supply chain quality issues with outstanding coordination and execution capabilities.
  • Strong capabilities in data analysis, quality risk prediction and supplier negotiation; confident in independently engaging and communicating with senior management of strategic suppliers.
  • Candidates with working experience in new energy, automotive parts, high-end equipment or electronic manufacturing industries are highly preferred.
