• Drive DFMEA, DVP&R, and design reviews; ensure robust design releases and change control.
• Lead virtual and physical validation strategy and correlation (durability, environment, corrosion, abuse).
• Supplier technical leadership: RFQ support, technical specification, design reviews, issue closure, APQP/PPAP readiness.
• Program execution: manage risks, maturity, and gateways; lead root cause analysis (8D) and implement countermeasures.
• Team handling: mentor and guide engineers; plan/assign work packages; ensure delivery to plan.
Required Qualifications:
• B.E./B.Tech/M.E. in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering (or equivalent).
• 6-10 years relevant automotive product development experience (passenger car chassis/driveline).
• Strong understanding of system interfaces, manufacturing feasibility, and design release processes.
• Experience leading suppliers and cross-functional teams; ability to operate autonomously.
Tools & Platforms:
• CAD: CATIA V5/V6
• CAE: ANSYS
• Pre/Post: HyperMesh and/or ANSA
• PLM: Teamcenter / ENOVIA (or equivalent)
• Quality & Delivery: DFMEA, DVP&R, 8D/5-Why

• Structured problem-solving mindset (8D/5-Why) and data-driven decision making
• Ownership, attention to detail, and delivery discipline
• Ability to work with global suppliers and multi-site teams
