Job Description CNC/VMC Machine Operator
Position: CNC/VMC Machine Operator
Location: Pune / Chakan
Experience: Fresher to 3 Years
Qualification: ITI (Turner, Machinist, Fitter) / Diploma Mechanical / 10th + Experience
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC and VMC machines safely and efficiently.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets.
Set machine parameters as per production requirements.
Perform tool changing, offset setting, and basic machine setup.
Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Bore Gauge.
Maintain production records and quality reports.
Follow quality standards, safety guidelines, and 5S practices.
Ensure machine cleanliness and routine maintenance checks.
Meet daily production targets with minimum rejection.
Required Knowledge Skills
Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operation.
Understanding of engineering drawings and GDT basics.
Knowledge of measuring instruments.
Knowledge of cutting tools and tool offsets.
Understanding of machining processes and production activities.
Basic troubleshooting of machine-related issues.
Knowledge of safety procedures in manufacturing environments.
Preferred Skills
Experience in automotive or manufacturing industries.
Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
