Role Overview

Opportunities are available for engineers with experience in semiconductor foundry environments, focusing on process integration, yield improvement, and technology transfer.

These roles involve close collaboration with external foundry partners and internal engineering teams to support new technology introduction, product ramp, and high-volume manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with external foundries on process, integration, and manufacturing topics
  • Support technology transfer (NTI/NPI) and transition to production
  • Drive yield improvement, defect reduction, and process optimization
  • Analyze parametric, electrical, and defect data to identify issues and trends
  • Participate in product ramp and high-volume manufacturing support
  • Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for yield excursions
  • Collaborate with design, product, and reliability teams on manufacturability
  • Provide inputs on process capability, limitations, and improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s / PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in:
  • Process Integration
  • Yield Engineering
  • Device / Technology Development (fab-related)
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor foundry or fab environments
  • Understanding of:
  • Semiconductor process flows (FEOL preferred)
  • Device physics and manufacturing fundamentals
  • Experience in at least one of:
  • Technology transfer / NPI / NTI
  • Yield ramp / high-volume manufacturing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with leading foundries such as:
  • TSMC / UMC / GlobalFoundries / VIS / Samsung Foundry
  • Exposure to:
  • BCD / NVM / CMOS / FinFET technologies
  • Experience in automotive or high-reliability products
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and yield tools
  • Mandarin language capability (for Taiwan-based roles)
