Founder in Residence – Venture Incubation
We are looking for a Founder in Residence to help incubate a new technology company and potentially become its co-founder.
The role is designed for exceptional individuals currently in consulting, strategy, or high-growth startups who want to transition into co-founding roles.
The Founder in Residence will work directly with our team at Neurone to explore a new opportunity, validate the thesis, and help build the foundations of a company.
When a new venture opportunity is identified and validated, the Founder in Residence will be offered a co-founding position with equity participation in the new venture.
The incubation projects we are exploring span AI infrastructure, longevity, defense technologies, and next-generation insurance platforms.
This is an opportunity to build a company from day one, with the backing of experienced founders and investors.
What you will do
- Work on the validation and early development of a new startup
- Conduct deep research on technology, markets, and competitors
- Help shape the product vision and business model
- Engage with industry experts, customers, and partners
- Contribute to early product thinking and go-to-market strategy
- Help build the foundational narrative and team of the company
Who we are looking for
We are looking for individuals with intellectual curiosity, ambition, and extreme ownership.
Typical backgrounds include top-tier strategy consulting firms, strategy roles in fast-growing startups, or technical backgrounds with strong business exposure.
The people who thrive here are unusually comfortable with unstructured problems. They don't wait for a brief, they write the brief. They form strong opinions quickly, hold them loosely, and can move from first principles to execution in a short timeframe. They're more energised by a blank whiteboard than a polished roadmap.
We've found that people who've done both rigorous analytical work and had to “sell” an idea or a direction to a client, tend to adapt fastest to the rhythm of early-stage company building.
