Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Foreman role based in Kurunegala. The Foreman will oversee day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring that vehicle maintenance, repairs, and related services are completed safely, efficiently, and to Kia’s quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising technical teams, assigning tasks, monitoring job progress, and conducting final inspections on completed work. The role will coordinate the use of tools, equipment, and materials, manage job schedules, and support preventive maintenance programs. The Foreman will also communicate with service advisors and other stakeholders, maintain accurate records, enforce safety and housekeeping standards, and support continuous improvement in workshop processes and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- A diploma in Automobile or a trade certificate from a recognized technical college (CGTTI/ATI)
- 5+ years as a Foreman
- Strong knowledge of automotive, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
- Quality-conscious and dedicated
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on time
- Leadership and team management skills (for Foreman role)
- Good communication skills in Sinhala and English
- Preference will be given to candidates who reside near Kurunegala
