Automotive Technician – Ford / Lincoln
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician with Ford and Lincoln experience to join a busy dealership service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Ford and Lincoln vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford and Lincoln vehicles according to manufacturer standards
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
- Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and HVAC systems
- Use Ford diagnostic equipment and service software to identify and resolve vehicle issues
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work collaboratively with service advisors and other technicians
Qualifications
- Experience working on Ford and domestic brand vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and drivability diagnostics
- Journeyman / Red Seal license or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
- Own tools required
Preferred Experience
- Ford dealership experience
- Experience using Ford IDS / FDRS diagnostic systems
- Experience servicing Lincoln luxury vehicles
Language
- Fluent in English
