Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fleet Manager with Swiggy Instamart, based in Chandigarh, India.

The Fleet Manager will oversee daily fleet operations to ensure smooth and efficient last-mile delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and optimizing Delivery Executive schedules
  • Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and operational policies
  • Monitoring riders availability and fleet efficiency
  • Analyzing operational performance data to improve delivery metrics
  • Implementing safety protocols and operational improvements
  • Handling on-ground DE issues and ensuring smooth field operations

This role involves on-site operational management with some remote flexibility to ensure efficient fleet operations and strong driver engagement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Fleet Management, Fleet Operations, or Operations Management
  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance
  • Analytical skills to optimize fleet performance and operations
  • Experience in team leadership and managing delivery executives
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operations environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, vehicle maintenance, and cost control
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred)
