Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fleet Manager with Swiggy Instamart, based in Chandigarh, India.
The Fleet Manager will oversee daily fleet operations to ensure smooth and efficient last-mile delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and optimizing Delivery Executive schedules
- Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and operational policies
- Monitoring riders availability and fleet efficiency
- Analyzing operational performance data to improve delivery metrics
- Implementing safety protocols and operational improvements
- Handling on-ground DE issues and ensuring smooth field operations
This role involves on-site operational management with some remote flexibility to ensure efficient fleet operations and strong driver engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience in Fleet Management, Fleet Operations, or Operations Management
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance
- Analytical skills to optimize fleet performance and operations
- Experience in team leadership and managing delivery executives
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operations environment
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
- Knowledge of safety protocols, vehicle maintenance, and cost control
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred)
