Field Technician operates a company vehicle and provides delivery/pick-up of the company’s rental equipment to/from customers locations. Responsible for preventive maintenance/service on equipment in the field in a safe and efficient manner. Looking for candidate in the Artesia/Carlsbad area.
Job Duties:
- Can work independently and as a team-player
- Works with honesty and values. Provides a professional attitude towards co- workers, customers, and management
- Delivers and sets up equipment on customers locations
- Pick up equipment when released
- Performs preventive maintenance or repair on equipment
- Can operate company vehicle and equipment in accordance with the policy and safety procedures.
- Fill out and turn in paperwork daily
- Uses all tools/safety equipment in accordance with the policy and safety procedures.
- Responsible for the company issued phone and answering all calls.
- Willing to work on call. Being on-call will be on a rotating week and weekend schedule.
- Attend all safety and other trainings.
- Complete any other duties that may be assigned by supervisor/management.
Experience:
- High School or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to maintain insurability with Company Insurance. Must be able to pass all drug screenings.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management
- Knowledge of surrounding geographical areas and sense of direction.
- Basic mechanical/electrical knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of various hand tools/safety equipment
- Must be able to drive long distances in company vehicle
Job Type: Full-time
