✅ HERE’S WHAT WE PROMISE OUR SERVICE ADVISOR:
- $60,000/year base salary (that’s $28.85/hr on a standard 40-hour week)
- Straightforward performance incentive potential based on shop productivity and customer service
- Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm with a full hour for lunch. No weekends. Period.
- Paid time off – 1 week vacation and holiday pay after 90 days
- Health insurance reimbursement through a QSEHRA plan
- IRA retirement plan available after one year
- Short-term disability and accident coverage through Colonial
✓ NO WEEKENDS (GET YOUR LIFE BACK) – Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm, with a full hour for lunch. That’s it. No Saturday work, no getting your weekend eaten up by the shop.
✓ WE WILL KEEP YOU BUSY – We’re booked out 2-3 weeks consistently. Steady work coming through the door means you’re not sitting around wondering if there’s enough to keep you busy – or worrying about your bonus potential drying up.
✓ YOU WILL BE APPRECIATED (OPEN-DOOR POLICY) – Owner Keith Starzer is on-site every day, and he’s a tech himself, not some suit who’s never turned a wrench. You can walk into his office anytime. Your input on how the front of the shop runs actually matters here.
✓ NO MICROMANAGERS – Keith tells you what he needs, then lets you do your job. Techs wanted the shop hours changed from 8-5 to 7-4? Done. That’s how this place operates. You won’t be looking over your shoulder.

ABOUT STARZER REPAIR
Starzer Repair Spraypainting & Sandblasting has been serving Crivitz and Marinette County since 2014. We’re a heavy diesel shop with an industrial sandblasting and painting operation that feeds work back and forth, working on everything from Class 4-8 trucks and trailers to ag and construction equipment.
Owner Keith Starzer isn’t a suit who’s never turned a wrench. SKILLS AND TRAITS THAT HELP YOU SHINE IN THIS ROLE:
- 2+ years of experience in service advising, service writing, fleet maintenance, or diesel repair
- Heavy-duty truck and trailer experience strongly preferred
- You can talk to a customer about a repair and actually make them understand what’s going on, and why
- Strong communication skills. You’re the connective tissue between the customer, the tech, and the parts counter
- You know how to prepare an accurate estimate using tech findings, labor times, and parts pricing
- You’re organized enough to schedule and prioritize work without letting things fall through the cracks
- You catch problems before they become delays, not after
- Comfortable with computers, email, and shop management software. Full Bay experience is a plus, but not required
- You want a real role in how the shop runs, not just a desk to sit at
