Position Overview
As an Automotive Technician at Renaissance Motors, you will play a vital role in delivering top‑tier service to customers, maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of automotive engines and systems with precision and care.
- Perform multi‑point/safety inspections on all vehicles.
- Display proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining gasoline engines (diesel experience is a plus).
- Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure efficient and high‑quality repairs.
- Keep meticulous records of work performed and parts used on the company laptop.
- Maintain an organized workspace that reflects a commitment to excellence.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in automotive technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician.
- Genuine passion for working on automotive vehicles.
- Proficiency with automotive repair tools and equipment, including computer diagnostic software.
- In‑depth knowledge of automotive engine systems and components.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering top‑quality work.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- ASE certification or relevant technical training is a definite plus.
- Capability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to meet or exceed hourly goals.
