Job description

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Equipment Manager / Truck Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Your focus will be on sales, leveraging your negotiation skills and industry knowledge to drive revenue growth.

Duties

Fleet & Asset Management

  • Oversee company-owned trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment.
  • Maintain complete asset records (VINs, warranties, service logs, registrations).
  • Monitor fleet utilization, lifecycle performance, and depreciation.
  • Develop replacement and acquisition strategies aligned with company growth.
  • Coordinate trade-ins, auctions, and equipment disposal.

Equipment Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Source trucks and equipment for resale or leasing opportunities.
  • Build relationships with owner-operators, fleet owners, and dealerships.
  • Conduct sales presentations and negotiate equipment transactions.
  • Prepare pricing strategies based on market conditions and asset value.
  • Manage documentation including title transfers and financing coordination.
  • Identify market trends and acquisition opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales, or automobile/truck sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual preferred)
  • Familiarity with CRM software for managing sales pipelines and customer relationships
  • Knowledge of dealership operations, inventory control, retail math, and organizational skills necessary for effective sales management
  • Experience in public speaking, retail sales, outbound calling, and customer service environments
  • Ability to demonstrate strong phone etiquette, organizational skills, and proficiency in marketing strategies
  • Previous experience in transportation or logistics sales is highly desirable
