Job Description
- Calibrate engine control systems (e.g., fuel injection, air management, EGR, aftertreatment) to reduce exhaust emissions.
- Conduct engine and vehicle testing (dyno, road, lab) to validate emissions performance.
- Analyze test data and adjust calibration to meet regulatory standards (e.g., Euro, EPA).
- Support certification processes and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (powertrain, software, validation).
- Troubleshoot emissions-related issues and optimize performance trade-offs.
Profile Description
- Degree in mechanical, automotive, or related engineering field.
- knowledge of automotive diagnostics (OBD, Trouble codes)
- Understanding of ECU systems.
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines, combustion processes, and emission control systems.
- Experience with calibration tools (e.g., INCA, CANape, MDA,CRETA,Optisim) and data analysis.
- Understanding of emissions regulations and testing procedures.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in diagnostics, validation, or calibration is a plus
- Driver License B, AW18.
