Role Description This is an on-site, contract role based in Bayswater, VIC for an eCommerce and Manufacturing Assistant. The role involves supporting daily manufacturing activities, including preparing materials, assisting with production tasks, and performing basic quality checks on finished goods. The assistant will help manage eCommerce operations by processing online orders, coordinating packing and dispatch, updating product information, and monitoring inventory levels. The role also includes assisting with logistics coordination, such as organizing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with couriers or freight providers as required. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the manufacturing and operations team to ensure smooth workflow, consistent product quality, and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Manufacturing and Quality Control, with the ability to follow production procedures and conduct basic inspections of finished products.
  • Experience or familiarity with Logistics Management, including coordinating shipments, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate inventory and dispatch records.
  • Demonstrated Teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a small on-site team and support colleagues across manufacturing and eCommerce tasks.
  • Basic understanding of eCommerce operations, such as order processing, packing, and using online sales platforms or inventory systems.
  • High attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
  • Comfort with basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, order management tools); prior experience in a warehouse, production, or eCommerce fulfillment role is an advantage.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, handle light to moderate lifting, and follow workplace health and safety guidelines.
