PURPOSE

This role is responsible for supporting effective coordination and performing of driver and equipment activities in the Sponsorship & Events function, with regards to delivering and setup of equipment as requested by and confirmed by supervisor to customers in order to achieve agreed Brand Activity Plans and the Sponsorship Strategy.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience relevant in equipment setup, and pitching and dismantling of tents
  • Valid code CE driver’s license.
  • Experience in FMCG sales will be a definite advantage.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide special function services in accordance with brand execution standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee the pitching and dismantling of tents in a safe manner.
  • Coordinate and allocate work to helping staff, and assist with logging of working hours according to work schedules.
  • Provide quality customer service delivery by ensuring services are delivered on time, friendly and professional service to customers, and communicating at all times in accordance with NBL Quality Standards.
  • Safe vehicle operation and control ensuring vehicle is used efficiently and is maintained in proper working condition.
  • Adhere to company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures and safe working practices ensuring PPE and safe working practices are adhered to.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour at all times for driver and crew.

  • Functional Competencies: Strong driving experience, physically fit
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good ability to communicate professionally and active listening, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Customer Focus: Strong orientation to customer service delivery.
  • Planning & Organising Ability: Ability to plan and organise tasks, time management and maintain records.
