JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing a B2B territory selling aftermarket under‑hood automotive parts to distributors, jobbers, fleets, and repair networks. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, driving revenue growth, promoting product adoption, and representing the company as a trusted technical and commercial partner. The salesperson works closely with internal teams to support customer needs, execute sales programs, and achieve territory performance goals.
-Manage and grow a B2B sales territory selling aftermarket under‑hood automotive parts to distributors, jobbers, fleets, and repair networks
-Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer decision‑makers through regular in‑person and virtual visits
-Drive sales growth by promoting Gates’ product portfolio, identifying opportunities, and converting competitive business
-Present new products, promotions, and programs while negotiating pricing and volume agreements within company guidelines
-Collaborate cross‑functionally with inside sales, marketing, supply chain, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
-Support customers with product training, technical guidance, merchandising, and inventory optimization
-Track opportunities, forecasts, and account activity in CRM and provide accurate sales reporting
-Represent the company at customer events, trainings, and industry trade shows
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
– 3+ years of Sales experience/account management/account executive B2B sales
– Experience with CRM
– Microsoft Office proficiency (basic)
– University or college degree
– Bilingual (French and English)
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
– trusted with autonomy
– after-market parts sales experience
– Oracle CRM would be a plus
– V look-ups in Excel
