Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Director of Purchasing. The Director of Purchasing will oversee and manage all purchasing operations, develop and execute effective procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, build relationships with vendors, and ensure cost-efficient and timely acquisition of goods and services. The role requires analyzing market trends, managing supply chain logistics, setting purchasing goals, and maintaining compliance with company policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Purchasing, Procurement, and Purchase Management processes
- Proven ability in Contract Negotiation and supplier relationship management
- Strong understanding of Purchasing Processes and supply chain dynamics
- Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities
- Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with procurement software
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry is advantageous
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
