Our BYD After Sales team is looking for a Diagnostic Technician for our Zaventem site. In this role, you ensure every vehicle leaving the workshop meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability. You will work with advanced technology and play a key role in solving complex technical challenges.
What you’ll do
- Perform maintenance and repairs in line with the highest quality and safety standards.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct test drives and quality checks to validate completed work.
- Prepare accurate and complete service reports.
- Strictly follow manufacturer guidelines, procedures, and quality standards
- Support the preparation of accurate cost estimates when required.
- Ensure the workshop is properly equipped with the right tools and materials.
- Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to the technical development of the team.
- Provide clear technical explanations to customers when needed.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A secondary technical diploma (automotive mechanics, electronics, or similar).
- Experience in the automotive sector, preferably in diagnostics.
- A strong focus on quality, accuracy, and structured work.
- A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
